By zendy, May 7, 2010

Good morning all! I hope you’re having a fabulous day (last day of class, yay!!!) and ready for the weekend.

I just wanted to send out a reminder that today is the day of the banquet and after-party! I sincerely hope all of you can make it to both!

The banquet starts at 7 pm. Please make sure to bring CASH along (a flat rate of $15). After dinner (should end at 10), we will be heading to Novin’s apartment for some more fun.

As always, you can contact one of us if you need a ride.

That’s it folks! Hope to see you and good luck on your exams!

By zendy, April 22, 2010

Hello everyone! Hope your Thursday is going well. I am writing to inform you guys of an event this weekend. Bereket, the UT Middle Eastern music ensemble, will be performing with several guest musicians in a FREE end of semester concert this weekend that is open to the public. Our very own ISACO member Ashley Biria will be performing, with four other musicians, a suite of traditional Persian music! They will be playing the tar, santur, tonbak, and daf. Hope you can attend!

A link to this event is here: www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=110473368972830&index=1

Who: Bereket Middle Eastern Ensemble and guest musicians
Where: University of Texas, Butler Music Building, Bates Recital Hall
When: Saturday, April 24, 7:30-10:30 pm.

A Gentle Reminder

Good morning all! I hope you all had a good nights sleep and if you didn’t, I hope you do well on the exam that you most probably sacrificed sleep for.

So I’ve decided to celebrate Earth Day (in case you didn’t know it’s Earth Day today, it is) by optimistically reminding you guys that our day at the park is Saturday from 4-6pm and I would really love to see all of your beautiful faces there. We’ll have snacks and drinks (of the non-alcoholic variety) as well as your basic picnic items i.e. soccer ball, football, volleyball.

Leave school behind for 2 hours and come out and get your daily recommended dose of Vitamin D!

Booses,
Armita
