As you may know, the Performing Arts Show is our biggest event of the year and we will be hosting our 10th annual show on Saturday, November 12th.

Hello and welcome back guys!

I hope everyone’s semester and new year is off to a good start! I am excited to see everyone of you for the first general meeting of the Spring semester!
The meeting will take place at PAR 208 on Wednesday, January 26th at 7 PM and PIZZA WILL BE PROVIDED!

We’re all excited to discuss upcoming Spring events with all of you and, as always, we’re open to suggestions. If you have any ideas, please don’t hesitate to bring them to the meeting.

Last Meeting of the Semester & Fall Banquet!

Hello all,

I wanted to remind you that our last meeting will be held on January 1st at 7 PM at the Asian Culture Room. In addition to discussing banquet details, we will be hosting Roja Najafi, a UT graduate student who organized the Voices in Green exhibition. She’s going to talk about the exhibition and art-related aspects of her studies. Make sure you stop by!

ISACO performs at Texas MBA International Night

ISACO dancers Sara Zendehdel, Parmis Rezvani, Bahareh Shah, and Vida Taherzadeh performed a dance choreographed by ISACO vice president Amir Ahmadian at the annual fair. The fair took place on November 17th, 2010. Congratulations to our country, Iran, for winning the fair and a year of bragging rights!

Here are several dances from the 9th annual Performing Arts Show, a show organized by the Iranian Students’ Academic & Cultural Organization (ISACO) at the University of Texas at Austin. These clips were taken during stage rehearsal on November 20th, 2010. Half of all proceeds benefit the Mahak and Fighting the Flood charity.
