Limited usage for internal implementation and audit preparation is permitted.

3. Certification Services

ISACO certification is based solely on the ISACO Framework and assessment methodology.

By applying for certification, you acknowledge:

  • ISACO certification does not replace statutory or regulatory compliance
  • ISACO is a private standards organization, not a government body
  • Certification decisions depend on the accuracy of information submitted
  • ISACO may deny, suspend, or revoke certification at its discretion

Certification remains valid only under compliance with ISACO renewal and review requirements.

4. Accuracy of Information

All information submitted to ISACO must be complete and accurate.

ISACO is not responsible for:

  • Errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete submissions
  • Misrepresentation by applicants or third parties
  • Decisions based on falsified or altered information

Providing misleading information may result in certification revocation.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ISACO is not liable for:

  • Business or financial losses resulting from certification outcomes
  • Misinterpretation of ISACO frameworks or guidelines
  • Issues with legal, regulatory, or safety compliance
  • Misuse or falsification of ISACO certificates or seals
  • Loss of data, operational disruption, or third-party actions

ISACO provides assessment services, not guarantees of organizational performance.

6. Third-Party Links

ISACO’s website may contain links to third-party sites.
ISACO does not control or endorse external content and is not responsible for their policies or practices.

Use of external sites is at your own discretion.

7. Modification of Services

ISACO reserves the right to:

  • Update or modify standards and requirements
  • Release new framework versions
  • Adjust certification methodology
  • Add, remove, or change available resources
  • Alter service pricing or availability

8. User Accounts and Submissions

If an ISACO portal requires login credentials, you are responsible for keeping them confidential.
