Refund Policy
International Systems Assurance & Certification Organization (ISACO)

This Refund Policy governs all payments made to the International Systems Assurance & Certification Organization (ISACO) for certification services, assessments, documentation reviews, applications, and related activities.
1. General Policy
All fees paid to ISACO are strictly non-refundable.
By submitting payment, the applicant acknowledges and agrees that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
This policy applies to all:
- Certification application fees
- Assessment and audit fees
- Documentation review fees
- Renewal or re-certification fees
- Administrative or processing fees
- Training or briefing fees (if applicable)
- Digital products, templates, or manuals
2. Reason for Non-Refundability
ISACO begins administrative processing, documentation handling, and resource allocation upon receipt of payment.
Because these activities incur immediate operational costs, fees cannot be reversed or refunded once paid.
3. Invalid Submissions
Fees remain non-refundable even if:
- The organization does not meet ISACO requirements
- Required documentation is incomplete or inaccurate
- The applicant withdraws voluntarily
- The certification is denied, suspended, or revoked
- The applicant fails to complete required steps
- The organization becomes unresponsive
ISACO does not provide refunds for unsuccessful applications or assessments.
4. Duplicate Payments
If a duplicate payment is made by mistake, the applicant must notify ISACO within 7 days with proof of the duplicate transaction.
ISACO may issue a refund only for the duplicate amount, not for the original fee.
5. Overpayment Credits
If an overpayment occurs, ISACO may apply the excess amount as a credit toward:
- Future renewals
- Upgrade assessments
- Additional services
Credits do not convert to cash refunds.
6. Changes or Cancellations
If the applicant cancels or reschedules an assessment:
- No refund is provided
- Assessment schedules may be rearranged at ISACO’s discretion
- Additional fees may apply for re-scheduling
Once processing begins, cancellations have no financial adjustment.
7. Policy Updates
ISACO reserves the right to update this Refund Policy.
The most current version will always be published on this page.
Continued use of ISACO services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
